Alcée Louis la Branche (born 1806 – died August 17, 1861) was an American politician. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for the state of Louisiana. He served one term as a Democrat from 1843 to 1845.

Alcée Louis la Branche was born in 1806 near New Orleans, in what was then the Orleans Territory. His father, Alexandre La Branche, was a commander in the Revolutionary War. His family had moved to Louisiana from Bavaria. They changed their last name from the German "Zweig" to the French "Branche," both meaning "branch." His mother, Marie Jeanne Piseros, came from a Spanish family. Alcée went to school in France, attending the Université de Sorèze.

Alcée Louis la Branche had an important career in politics. In 1833, he became the Speaker of the House for the Louisiana State House of Representatives. This meant he was the leader of that group of lawmakers.
