Her Life and Career

Alessandra Sardoni was born in Rome, Italy, on May 5, 1964. She went to college and earned a degree in the Philosophy of language, which is about how language works and how we use it to think.

In 1991, Alessandra started her career working for the Naples office of a big Italian newspaper called la Repubblica. By March 1994, she officially became a professional journalist in the Lazio region.

Later, she moved into television and became a political commentator. This means she would share her expert opinions and analysis on political events and news. She hosted popular TV shows like Otto e mezzo and Omnibus. Today, Alessandra works for La7, which is a major TV network in Italy, and she is one of their most recognized faces.

From 2012 to April 2015, Alessandra Sardoni made history as the first woman to be the president of the Parliamentary Press Association. This group represents journalists who report on the Italian Parliament. In June 2015, she received Il Premiolino, which is the most important award a journalist can get in Italy.
