Alessia Marcuzzi (born on November 11, 1972) is a famous Italian television host, actress, and former fashion model. She has been working in television for over 30 years. She also co-hosted the Sanremo Music Festival 2025.

Early Career and First Steps in TV

Alessia Marcuzzi was born in Rome, Italy. Her father, Eugenio, was from Trieste, and her mother, Antonietta, was from Roseto Valfortore.

She started her TV career in 1991 on a channel called Telemontecarlo. She hosted shows like Attenti al dettaglio and Qui si gioca. In March 1992, she also hosted a children's show called Amici mostri.

In 1994, Alessia appeared on RAI television. She worked with Gigi Sabani on a show called Il grande gioco dell'oca. That same year, she also started acting in movies. She was in Chicken Park and Tra noi due è tutto finito.

Becoming a Star at Mediaset

Alessia Marcuzzi joined Mediaset in November 1995. She hosted a popular show called Colpo di fulmine on Italia 1. This show was so popular that it became a daily program in 1996.

Thanks to this show, she became very well-known. From 1996 to 2002, she hosted the famous music festival Festivalbar. She even won an award called a Telegatto for her work on Festivalbar.

In 2000, Alessia took over as host of the Italian version of Caiga Quien Caiga, which is called Le Iene. She hosted this show until 2005. It started as a late-night show and then moved to prime time because it was so popular.

She also hosted the Telegatto awards in 2002 and 2003. In 2003, she hosted a charity show called La fabbrica del sorriso. She won more awards, including the Premio Flaiano and another Oscar TV for her work on Le Iene.

In 2006, Alessia started hosting the Italian version of Big Brother, called Grande Fratello. She hosted this very popular reality show until 2015.

Acting Roles

Besides hosting, Alessia Marcuzzi has had many acting roles. From 2004 to 2006, she was a main character in the TV series Carabinieri. In 2007, she acted in Il giudice Mastrangelo 2.

She also starred in the TV movie Un amore di strega in 2009. From 2009 to 2012, she was in the sitcom Così fan tutte. She also had a role in the 1998 film Il mio West.

In January 2025, Alessia co-hosted the final night of the Sanremo Music Festival 2025. She hosted it alongside Alessandro Cattelan and Carlo Conti.

Personal Life

Alessia Marcuzzi has two children. Her son, Tommaso, was born on April 29, 2001. His father is Simone Inzaghi, a former Italian football player. Their relationship ended in 2004.

Her daughter, Mia, was born on September 4, 2011. Mia's father is Francesco Facchinetti, a television host and singer. Their relationship ended in October 2012.

Alessia Marcuzzi married Paolo Calabresi Marconi in December 2014.
