Alexander Weiss (born January 29, 1987) is a German professional ice hockey player. He plays as a forward, which means he's one of the main attackers on the team. Currently, he plays for the Schwenninger Wild Wings in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). The DEL is Germany's top ice hockey league. Alexander started his career with Eisbären Berlin, another well-known team in the DEL.

Moving to New Teams
After playing five seasons with the Kölner Haie (Cologne Sharks), Alexander's contract ended. He then decided to join his third DEL club. On May 2, 2016, he signed a three-year deal with the Grizzlys Wolfsburg.
Joining the Wild Wings
Alexander played three seasons with the Grizzlys Wolfsburg. At the end of the 2018–19 season, he left the team. He had faced some injuries that season, which limited him to playing in 23 games and scoring 8 points.
On March 12, 2019, Alexander Weiss joined his fourth DEL club. He signed a one-year deal with the Schwenninger Wild Wings. This is the team he plays for now.
