All-New Dennis the Menace is an exciting animated TV show. It's based on the popular comic strip created by Hank Ketcham. The series first aired in 1993 on the CBS network. It came out when a live-action movie about Dennis was also released. This helped the cartoon become very well-known.
The show was made by DIC Entertainment and Reteitalia, S.p.A. They worked with the Spanish TV channel Telecinco. Just like an earlier Dennis the Menace cartoon, this new series was supported by General Mills.

How Many Episodes Were There?
The All-New Dennis the Menace series had a total of 13 episodes. Each episode featured new adventures and mischief from Dennis and his friends.
What About the Music?
The music for the show was quite special! The opening theme song was taken from a famous piece of classical music. It was adapted from the overture to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's opera The Marriage of Figaro. An overture is like an introduction piece of music.
The show also used other classical music. For example, some of the background music came from Gioachino Rossini's The Barber of Seville. This made the cartoon feel lively and fun.
Dennis the Menace: Cruise Control Movie
Years later, in 2002, DIC Entertainment made a TV movie called Dennis the Menace: Cruise Control. This movie was part of their DIC Movie Toons series. It first showed on Nickelodeon on October 27, 2002.
After its TV premiere, the movie was released on VHS and DVD. It also aired internationally on Disney Channel and Toon Disney. Interestingly, this movie looked more like the 1986 Dennis the Menace cartoon series. It didn't copy the style of the All-New show. This movie was the first Dennis the Menace project released after Hank Ketcham, the creator of the comic strip, passed away in 2001.
