A Look Back at Allentown
Allentown was first planned out in 1835. This is when people decided where the streets and building lots would go for the new community.
Later, in 1848, a post office was opened in Allentown. This was an important place for people to send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years before it closed down in 1904.
