Lukas Strobel (born on September 28, 1989) is a German musician. He is best known by his stage name Alligatoah. He is a rapper, singer, DJ, and music producer.

Alligatoah is signed to the German hip hop record label Trailerpark. He also creates music for two made-up characters: Kaliba 69, who is a rapper, and DJ Deagle, who is a producer. He uses his stage name for all of this music. His albums Triebwerke and Musik ist keine Lösung have sold very well, earning "gold" awards. His song "Willst du" even reached "platinum" status, meaning it sold over a million copies.

Lukas Strobel grew up in a town called Neuenwalde in Germany. It is near Bremerhaven in Lower Saxony. When he was in school, he enjoyed making short films. He even won 750 Euros at a film festival for one of his movies. Lukas still creates his own videos today.

On April 10, 2006, Lukas started his music project, Alligatoah. He came up with two different characters for his music. Kaliba 69 is the rapper, and DJ Deagle is the producer. Lukas said he created these characters because he did not always want to be alone when making music.

A big influence on his music was German battle rap. In 2006, he released his first album, ATTNTAAT. He also put out a mixtape called ... Series Part I. Both of these, along with his music film Goldfieber, were available for free download. In 2007, he released ... Series Part II.

In March 2008, he signed a contract with a German hip hop label called rappers.in. Under this label, he released the album In Gottes Namen. This album was even named the "best demo of the month" by a German hip hop magazine called Juice. Alligatoah made a special song just for that magazine issue.

After finishing high school, Lukas moved to Berlin. In 2011, he released the third part of his mixtape, ... Series Part III. In August of that year, he left rappers.in. He then joined the Trailerpark label because another artist, Timi Hendrix, suggested him. From September 2011 to March 2012, he went on a tour in Germany with other artists.

In August 2013, Alligatoah released his third album, Triebwerke. This album quickly became number 1 on the German music charts. It earned a gold award in 2014. His song "Willst du" from that album became a platinum hit. In September 2014, a new version of "Willst du" was released by German DJ Robin Schulz. This remix became very popular on the German iTunes charts right away.

On August 31, 2015, Alligatoah announced his fourth album, Musik ist keine Lösung. It was released on November 27. On December 3, Lukas won the "1Live Krone 2015" award for the best hip-hop act. In February 2016, Alligatoah started his "Himmelfahrtskommando" tour. He performed in 11 German cities, and also in Graz and Vienna. On April 5, his album Musik ist keine Lösung also received a gold award.
