The City Hall
The City Hall in Amaxac de Guerrero is the main building for the local government. It's where the mayor, called the Presidente municipal, and other officials work. This building was constructed about 60 years ago.
When it was first built, the City Hall only had one floor. As the town grew and more people moved in, a second floor was added. This new floor holds many of the administrative offices. The floor on the second story is made of special wooden planks.
Inside the City Hall, you can find a photo gallery. This gallery shows pictures of all the people who have been mayor in the past. It's like a history book of the town's leaders!
When you walk into the building, the municipal library is on your left. This library is a great place to visit. It has more than five thousand books on many different topics. It also offers internet access, so you can do your homework or learn new things.
You can spot the city's logo on the front of the building. It's located just above and to the right of the main entrance on the second floor.
