Amica was an Australian pop music group. They made music especially for kids aged 6 to 12. Their album, Life is Fun, was even nominated for a big award in 2004. This award was the ARIA Award for Best Children's Album.
The group started with four members. These were Merrity 'Mez' Murphy, Natalie 'Nat' Strother, Daniella 'Dan' Taliangis, and Kristina 'Kris' Visocchi. Their first song, "Life Is Fun", came out in 2003. It reached number 90 on the Australian music charts. Later in 2003, Mez left the group. Amica then continued as a trio. They released another song called "Rock Star" that same year. It reached number 80 on the charts. Their album, also named Life is Fun, was released in April 2004. By the middle of 2004, Brandie joined the band, replacing Dan. The group then broke up in July 2004.
