Andrés Felipe Mercado Cepeda (born August 27, 1986) is an actor and singer from Colombia. He is famous for his role as Daniel Esquivel in the TV show Grachi. When he was a kid, Andrés learned to play the piano, paint, and sing. He also appeared in many TV commercials.

Andrés Mercado wanted to be a better actor. So, he moved to New York for a year. There, he learned new acting skills like improvisation and how to use his body in acting. After that, he went back to Colombia. He continued his acting career and also worked on improving his singing.

Andrés started acting when he was 15 years old. His first role was Leonardo Pava in the Colombian TV series Padres e hijos. In 2005, he had a small part in El pasado no perdona. The next year, in 2006, he played Richie in the Colombian version of the show Floricienta.

From 2007 to 2008, he was Andrés Larrea in the series Pocholo. Later, in 2009 and 2010, he played Iker in the Mexican TV show Atrévete a soñar. He worked with other actors like Lucas Velázquez and Danna Paola on this show.

One of his most well-known roles was Daniel Esquivel in the Nickelodeon Latin America show Grachi. He starred alongside Cuban actress Isabella Castillo in this popular series.
