Andrés Sorel facts for kids
Andrés Martínez López (born in Segovia in 1937 – died in Madrid on January 7, 2019), known by his pen name Andrés Sorel, was a Spanish writer. He started a daily newspaper called Liberación.
From 1962 to 1971, he worked as a reporter for Radio España Independiente. This radio station was linked to the Communist Party of Spain, a political group. Andrés Sorel was the brother of another writer, Antonio Martínez Menchén, and the uncle of the poet Carlos Martínez Aguirre. Throughout his life, he wrote and published more than fifty books.
