Andrés Velencoso Segura (born March 11, 1978) is a well-known Spanish model and actor. He became famous for his work in big advertising campaigns. These include the Chanel Allure Homme sport fragrance and a Louis Vuitton campaign with singer Jennifer Lopez in 2003.
In June 2009, he was ranked among the top male models in the world. He was listed as #6 on MODELS.com's "Top Icons Men" list. He also ranks among the top earners in modeling.

Andrés Velencoso was born in a Spanish town called Ledaña. This town is in the Cuenca region. When he was 15, he moved to Tossa de Mar in Girona.

Andrés Velencoso started his modeling career after finishing high school. He signed a contract with a Spanish modelling agency. However, his early career was not easy. Many agents in Milan thought he was not suitable for modeling.
His luck changed in 2001 when Natalie Kates, an agent from New York City, gave him a chance. Even though he couldn't speak English, she helped him. She took new photos of him and sent him to meet important people. One of them was photographer Matt Albiani, who liked Andrés for a project.
Soon after, Andrés was on a photoshoot in East Hampton. Within days, famous photographers noticed him. These included Michael Thompson and Francois Nars. In 2002, he got a job for the Banana Republic spring ad campaign. A year later, he starred in a Louis Vuitton ad with Jennifer Lopez.
He also signed a contract for the Chanel Allure Homme Sport fragrance. In 2004, he became the face of Loewe. His first magazine cover was for Arena Homme + in 2005. He also appeared in a Jean Paul Gaultier ad campaign.
Velencoso has been on the covers of many top fashion magazines. These include L'Officiel Hommes and Vanity Fair. He has also been the face of many advertising campaigns. Some of these brands are H&M, Trussardi, and Ermenegildo Zegna. He has worked with famous photographers like Karl Lagerfeld.
