Andreas Gall's Career
Early Days in Media
Andreas Gall trained to be a radio and television engineer. He also became a Tonmeister, which is an expert in sound recording. He finished his studies in 1985 in Munich and London.
From 1985 to 1987, Gall worked as a freelance media technician. He was also a sound engineer for different companies. One of these was MCM Musik- und Schallplatten Verlags GmbH in Munich. Later, he became a managing director for the SAE Institute in Austria.
In 1989, he became the Deputy Technical Director for the radio station Antenne Bayern in Munich. He then moved to Berlin in 1991. There, he became the Technical Director for the radio station 104.6 RTL.
Starting His Own Company
In 1992, Andreas Gall started his own company called Mondocom GmbH in Munich. He also became the managing director for its office in Vienna.
In 1998, Gall took over the technical management of the radio station Hitradio Ö3. He also planned and built new radio studios for the station that same year. In 2002, he became the Technical Director of ORF. ORF is the main broadcasting company in Austria.
Working with Red Bull
In 2007, Andreas Gall joined Red Bull Media House GmbH. He became a Co-Managing Director and the Chief Technology Officer. This role involved leading the company's technology efforts.
In 2017, he was promoted to Chief Innovation Officer (CINO). In this role, he focuses on new ideas and future projects. He has also represented Red Bull Media House at big events. These include SportsPro Live in London and the Austrian Media Days.
Awards and Recognitions
Andreas Gall has received awards for his innovative work.
- In 2001, he developed a special pocket recorder. For this invention, he received the "Master of Excellence" award. This award came from the Federal Minister of Economics of Germany.
- In 2014, he won a Cannes Corporate Media & TV Award. He won it as a producer for a film called "Transforming Formula One – 2014 Rules Explained." He worked on this film with his company.
