Andreas Wolff (born March 3, 1991) is a famous German handball player. He is known for being a fantastic goalkeeper for THW Kiel, a top German club, and for the German national team. He's often called "Andi" by his teammates and fans.

Andreas Wolff's Handball Journey
Andreas Wolff started playing handball when he was very young, at just four years old! He played for local clubs like SG Ollheim/Straßfeld and HSG Rheinbach-Wormersdorf until he was 15. His first big step into professional handball was with TV Kirchzell.
He then joined TV Großwallstadt and later HSG Wetzlar. In 2016, Andreas moved to one of Germany's biggest handball clubs, THW Kiel. He played there for three years. During this time, he played 102 matches and helped his team win the DHB-Pokal (German Cup) twice. They also won the EHF European League in 2019, which is a big European club competition.
In 2019, Andreas decided to play handball in Poland for Vive Kielce (later called Industria Kielce). He was even made the captain of the team! While in Poland, he helped his team win the Polish championship four times. In 2022, his team reached the final of the EHF Champions League, which is the biggest club competition in Europe. They played against FC Barcelona Handbol but lost in a penalty shootout. In 2024, Andreas Wolff returned to play for THW Kiel in Germany.
Playing for Germany
Andreas Wolff first played for a German national team (the B-team) in 2013. Just one year later, he joined the main German national team.
He was a key player when the German team won the 2016 European Men's Handball Championship in Poland. In that tournament, he was chosen as the best goalkeeper! He has also won a bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and a silver medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris with the German team.
