Andrzej Suski was born in a city called Płock, in Poland. From a young age, he chose to follow a path of faith. He studied to become a priest. In 1965, he was officially ordained into the priesthood. This meant he could lead church services and guide people in their faith.
Becoming a Bishop
After serving as a priest for many years, Andrzej Suski took on bigger roles. In 1986, he became an Auxiliary Bishop of Płock. An auxiliary bishop helps the main bishop manage a large church area, known as a diocese. It's like being an assistant leader.
In 1992, Bishop Suski became the main leader of a new church area. This area was the Diocese of Toruń. As the Bishop of Toruń, he was responsible for all the Catholic churches and communities in that region. He guided priests and church members for many years.
Retirement from Service
