Anette Natalia Vázquez Mendoza (born March 11, 2002) is a talented Mexican professional football player. She is known as Anette Vázquez or by her nickname, La Rata. Anette plays as a midfielder for Guadalajara, also called Chivas. This team is part of the Liga MX Femenil, which is Mexico's top women's football league.
Anette helped Chivas win the very first professional women's football championship in Mexico in 2017. Over 32,000 fans watched this exciting game! She was also a key player when her team won the league again in 2022. Anette has also played for the Mexico women's national under-20 football team. She even scored Mexico's only goal against New Zealand in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup.
