Early Life and Moving Away
Angela Martini was born in the city of Shkodër, Albania. When she was a child, her home country was going through major political changes, and life was not always easy.
Because her mother was worried about her future, she sent Angela to live with her father in Switzerland when she was ten years old. At age 21, she moved again, this time to Miami in the United States, to follow her dream of becoming a model.

A Successful Modeling Career
Angela began modeling when she was 18, but her career really took off in Miami. She signed with top agencies like NEXT Model Management and Elite Model Management.
She has modeled for famous companies like JCPenney and Macy's. She also appeared in major fashion events, such as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Her work has been featured in magazines like GQ and the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
Competing in Miss Universe
In 2010, Angela represented Albania in the Miss Universe pageant held in Las Vegas. She did incredibly well, finishing in 6th place. This is the highest placement any contestant from Albania has ever achieved in the history of the pageant.
