Angélica María Cepeda Jiménez (born on August 2, 1974), known as Angie Cepeda, is a talented actress from Colombia. She is famous for her roles in TV shows like Pobre Diabla. She also starred in movies such as Captain Pantoja and the Special Services and Love in the Time of Cholera. Angie is the younger sister of another well-known actress, Lorna Cepeda.
Early Life
Angie Cepeda was born in Cartagena de Indias, a city in Colombia. She grew up in Barranquilla. After her parents separated, she lived with her mother. She also lived with her two older sisters. One of her sisters is the actress Lorna Paz.
Becoming an Actress
Angie decided she wanted to be an actress. She moved to Bogotá to study drama. Soon after starting her acting classes, a beer company hired her. She appeared in several of their advertisements.
After that, she started getting small parts. She acted in different TV shows and movies in Colombia. Her big break came with the TV show Las Juanas. This role helped her get noticed by TV producers.
