In 2022, the election districts in Florida changed. Angie Nixon's district became House District 13. She ran in this new district and won again. She now represents District 13 in the Florida House.
In November 2023, Angie Nixon suggested a resolution about the 2023 Israel-Hamas war. A resolution is a formal statement of opinion. She asked for a stop to the fighting and for hostages to be released. The Florida State House voted against her resolution.
