About Anita Marks

Anita Marks grew up in south Dade County, Florida. She finished high school at Miami Sunset Senior High School in 1988.

Playing Football

Anita went to the University of South Florida. There, she played college flag football for four years. She earned a degree in Communications in 1992.

Later, Anita played professional women's football. She played from 2000 to 2004. For most of that time, she played for the Miami Fury. In her last season, she played for the Florida Stingrays. Her team even made it to the WPFL championship game that year.

Working in Broadcast Media

Anita has had many roles in sports broadcasting. She used to host sports talk radio shows in Baltimore. One of her shows was also shown on MASN-TV. She hosted her own show about fantasy football called "Fantasy Blitz" on MASN. She was also a sideline reporter for the United Football League. Those games were shown on Versus. Anita left CBS Radio Baltimore in 2010 to find new opportunities.

Anita then joined the New York Giants broadcast team. She hosted shows on the MSG Network, WWOR-TV My9, and Verizon Fios. She also hosted pre- and post-game shows on WFAN Sports Radio in New York. Anita has hosted shows on SiriusXM and NBC Sports Radio. She was also a fantasy football expert for Bloomberg Sports.

Today, Anita is an update anchor and a fill-in talk show host for ESPN New York. You can hear her host a show called "Sunday Funday" every Sunday morning.
