Ann-Louise Hanson is a famous Swedish singer. She was born in Kristianstad, Sweden, in 1944. Ann-Louise has been singing and making music since 1956, which is a very long time!
In 1960, she had her first big hit song. It was called "Är du ensam i kväll?". This song was a Swedish version of a famous song by Elvis Presley called "Are You Lonesome Tonight?".

Music with Family
Ann-Louise often worked with Bruno Glenmark's orchestra in the 1960s. Later, Ann-Louise and Bruno got married. They started a music group called Glenmarks. Bruno's niece Karin and nephew Anders also joined the group.
They even started their own record company! It was called GlenDisc. This company made music on vinyl records, cassettes, and later CDs.
Melodifestivalen Star
Ann-Louise is well-known for taking part in Sweden's big music contest, Melodifestivalen. This is the show that picks Sweden's song for the Eurovision Song Contest.
She has entered the competition thirteen times! That's more than anyone else. Even though she hasn't won, her songs "Bara en enda gång" and "Kärleken lever" are very popular.
In 1962, Ann-Louise also sang in the German try-outs for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Recent Music and Life
Ann-Louise released an album in 1986 called Duva – Flyg igen. This album used a lot of synth sounds. On the main song, she sang with her daughters, Jessica and Josefin. She also sang a duet with the famous musician Billy Preston.
In 2019, Ann-Louise returned to Melodifestivalen 2019. She sang a song called "Kärleken finns kvar".
Ann-Louise lived in France with Bruno for a while in the late 1980s. Now, she lives back in her hometown of Kristianstad in Sweden.
