Anna Coren's Journalism Career
Anna Coren studied communications at Charles Sturt University and graduated in 1996. She started her career working for local TV stations like Prime and NBN. In 1999, she joined the Nine Network as a reporter for National Nine News. By 2002, she was presenting news updates and early morning news.
Working at Seven Network
In December 2003, Anna moved to the Seven Network. She presented late news updates and filled in for Today Tonight. She also hosted special events, including Australia's Brainiest Kid. Anna often filled in as a news presenter for the morning show Sunrise. She also presented the factual series True Stories.
Reporting from the United States
In 2005, Anna became the United States correspondent for Seven News. In this role, she reported on global news for Sunrise. She covered important events like the 2005 G8 Summit in Scotland. She also reported from northern Israel during the 2006 conflict.
