Anna Seniuk (born on November 17, 1942) is a well-known Polish actress. She was born in a place called Stanisławów, which was part of Poland back then, but is now Ivano-Frankivsk in Ukraine.
After World War II, Anna and her family, like many other Poles from Stanisławów, had to move from their hometown. They settled in a town called Zator, which is near Oświęcim. In 1964, Anna Seniuk finished her studies at a famous drama school in Kraków called the Academy for the Dramatic Arts. Soon after, she started her acting career at the well-known Helena Modrzejewska (Old Theatre).
In the early 1970s, Anna moved to Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. There, she performed in many different theaters. Since 2003, she has been a part of the acting team at the National Theatre.
Anna Seniuk is very famous in Poland, especially for her role as Magda Karwowska in a super popular TV show from the 1970s called Czterdziestolatek (which means The Forty-Year-Old). Besides TV and theater, she also worked a lot on Polish Radio, appearing in more than 40 radio plays. She has also been in many movies, including Europa Europa, Potop, and The Maids of Wilko.
