The Anseba Region is one of the six main areas, or regions, that make up the country of Eritrea. It is located in the northwestern part of Eritrea. The biggest and most important city in this region is Keren, which serves as its capital. The region gets its name from the Anseba River, an important river that flows through this area.

The Anseba Region is divided into ten smaller areas called subregions. These subregions help manage the different parts of the region.
