Antonio Abadía Beci (born on July 2, 1990) is a Spanish long-distance runner. He is known for competing in races like the 5000 metres and 10,000 metres. Antonio has represented Spain in many important athletics events around the world.
Antonio's Running Journey
Antonio Abadía has had an exciting career in track and field. He started competing in big events when he was young.
- In 2007, he won a bronze medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Serbia. This was for the 2000 metres steeplechase, a race with hurdles and water jumps!
- Two years later, in 2009, he won a gold medal at the European Junior Championships. This time it was for the 3000 metres steeplechase. This showed he was a rising star in running.
