Araya Alberta Hargate (born June 28, 1981) is a famous Thai actress, model, and TV host. Many people know her as Araya A. Hargate or by her nickname, Chompoo. Chompoo means "rose apple" in Thai. She is known for her role in the TV show Doksom Sithong. Araya has a mixed background, with English, Lao, and Thai roots.

Araya grew up with a mixed heritage, often called "Eurasian" or "Luk khrueng" in Thailand. She studied hard and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rangsit University.

Becoming a Star
Araya became famous in 1998 when she won the Miss Motor Show Contest, a beauty pageant. Soon after, she became a well-known name in Thai households. Her first acting role was at just 17 years old in a Thai TV drama, or lakorn, called Pleng Prai. This show was produced by Channel 7 in 1998.
More Than Just Acting
Besides acting, Araya is also a successful model. She is known for her amazing sense of style and is often called a "High Fashion Queen." She has worked as an ambassador for big brands like L'Oréal Paris. You might have seen her at major events like International Fashion Weeks and the famous Cannes Film Festival. She also represented the fashion magazine L’Officiel Thailand at the Shanghai International Film Festival.
Araya's Family Life
On May 6, 2015, Araya married Witsarut "Nott" Rungsisingpipat. They had been together for six years. On September 6, 2017, Araya gave birth to twin sons, Saifah and Bhayu Rangsisingpipat.
