Arcadia (Tucumán) is a small town, also known as a Rural Commune. It is located in the Tucumán Province in northern Argentina. Arcadia is part of the Chicligasta Department.
The town's area is found between the Gastona and Rio Seco rivers. Nearby towns like Concepción and Rio Seco manage areas just outside Arcadia's borders. Arcadia is about 66 kilometers (41 miles) from San Miguel de Tucumán, which is the capital city of the province. It's also only 6 kilometers (about 4 miles) from the city of Concepción.

Arcadia is easy to find! It is located where Nueve de Julio street meets another path. It is also very close, just 200 meters (about 650 feet), from National Highway 38. This highway helps connect Arcadia to other places.
A Look at Arcadia's History
Arcadia holds a special place in Argentina's history. It was the very first place in the country where military service, sometimes called "colimba," took place. This happened in the late 1800s. The training ground was right on the bank of the Gastona river, near a spot known as the red canyon.
