Scientific classification

Archiminolia diplax is a type of sea snail. It is a marine mollusk that belongs to the family Solariellidae. This snail is special because it is endemic to New Zealand. This means it is found naturally only in New Zealand waters and nowhere else in the world.

What it Looks Like

The shell of Archiminolia diplax can grow up to 11 millimeters (about 0.4 inches) wide. It is usually white in color. The shell is moderately thick and is wider than it is tall.
