Arnold W. Donald (born 17 December 1954) is an important American businessman. He was the main leader, called the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), of Carnival Corporation & plc. This is a huge company that owns many cruise lines. He led the company from July 2013 until August 2022. After that, he became the vice-chairman.

Arnold Donald was born on December 17, 1954. He grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He went to St. Augustine High School in his hometown.
His Education Journey
Arnold Donald studied at several universities.
- In 1976, he earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Carleton College.
- In 1977, he received another bachelor's degree. This one was in mechanical engineering from the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis.
- He continued his studies and earned an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in 1980. He got this from the University of Chicago Graduate Booth School Of Business. An MBA helps people learn how to manage businesses.
Starting His Business Career
Donald began his career at a company called Monsanto in St. Louis. He worked there for 23 years. During his time at Monsanto, he held many important jobs. He became the president of Monsanto's nutrition and consumer parts of the business. He also served as a senior vice president for the whole company.
Leading Carnival Corporation
In July 2013, Arnold Donald joined Carnival Corporation & plc as its CEO. As CEO, he was in charge of the entire company. Carnival Corporation owns many well-known cruise lines around the world.
In August 2022, Arnold Donald stepped down as CEO. Josh Weinstein took over his role. Donald then became the vice-chairman of the company. He continued to advise Carnival until 2025.
