Arrington, Kansas facts for kids
Arrington is a small place in Kansas, United States. It's called an "unincorporated community." This means it doesn't have its own local government, like a city or town. Instead, it's part of a larger area called Kapioma Township in Atchison County.
History
Arrington was officially planned and marked out on a map in 1884. This process is called "platting." When a place is platted, it means someone drew up a map showing where streets, building lots, and public areas would be. This helps organize how the community will grow.
