How the Festival Grew
The very first Art, Not Apart festival was in 2011. It started in the NewActon area. In 2015 and 2016, the festival got bigger. It included Westside Acton Park, a temporary area made of shipping containers. Since then, the festival has used even more venues. These include The Shine Dome, the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA), and Albert Hall. It also uses parts of the Australian National University (ANU).
