Arturo Tizón Ibáñez (born May 25, 1984 – died January 16, 2021) was a Spanish motorcycle racer. He was born in La Vall d'Uixó, a town in the Valencian Community in Spain. Arturo was known for his skills on two wheels.

He competed in major motorcycle racing events. From 2005 to 2007, he raced in the 250cc Motorcycle World Championship. He also achieved a big win in 2005, becoming the CEV Supersport champion.

Arturo's Racing Journey

Arturo Tizón had an exciting career in motorcycle racing. He competed in two main types of championships. These were the Supersport World Championship and the Grand Prix motorcycle racing series.

Supersport World Championship

The Supersport World Championship is a global racing series. Riders use production-based motorcycles. Arturo competed in this championship in 2005, 2007, and 2008.

In 2005, he raced with a Yamaha bike. He earned 2 points that year. He also became the CEV Supersport champion in 2005. This was a great achievement for him.

He returned to the Supersport series in 2007, again with Yamaha. In 2008, he raced with a Suzuki bike. Across all his Supersport races, he started 7 times and earned a total of 2 points.

Grand Prix Motorcycle Racing

Grand Prix motorcycle racing is the highest level of motorcycle road racing. It includes different engine sizes, like the 250cc class. Arturo raced in the 250cc class from 2005 to 2007.
