Asexuality is a physical orientation. Asexual people do not have physical attraction towards anyone, no matter what gender they are. Asexuality has nothing to do with a person's romantic/aesthetic/sensual attraction.

Asexuality is distinct from celibacy, which is generally motivated by factors such as an individual's personal, social, or religious beliefs.
