Ashley Marshall's Professional Career
Ashley Marshall has achieved some impressive things in her professional running career. In February 2016, she set a new Barbadian national record in the 60 metres race. This happened at an event held at the University of Washington Huskies.
Later that year, Ashley competed in the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships - Women's 60 metres. This is a big international competition for indoor track and field. She ran the 60 meters in 7.38 seconds and finished 27th in the world.
College Achievements at UC Davis
Before turning professional, Ashley Marshall was a star athlete at UC Davis. She was a very successful college runner. From 2013 to 2015, she won the "Track Athlete of the Year" award three times. This award was given by the Big West Conference, which is a group of colleges that compete against each other in sports. Winning this award multiple times shows how consistently good she was.
