Aurora Luque Ortiz, born on September 20, 1962, is a talented Spanish writer. She is known as a poet, a translator, and a teacher. Aurora lives and works in Andalusia, a region in Spain.

About Aurora Luque

Aurora Luque was born in Almería, Spain, in 1962. She studied Classical Philology at the University of Granada. This means she learned a lot about ancient languages and cultures, like Ancient Greek. Since 1988, she has taught Ancient Greek in Málaga. She also wrote articles for the newspaper Diario Sur from 1999 to 2008.

Awards and Recognition

In 2008, Aurora received the Meridiana Award. This award was for her important work in finding and sharing the writings of forgotten female authors. Later that year, she became the director of the Generation of '27 Cultural Center. She held this position until June 2011.
