Ayumi Ishida's Music Career
Ayumi Ishida began her singing career in 1964. In December 1968, she released her song "Blue Light Yokohama." This song was written by Kyohei Tsutsumi. It became her biggest hit and won an award for best singing in Japan. Because of this popular song, she appeared on a famous TV show called "Kohaku Uta Gassen" that same year. This made her very famous across Japan.

Besides singing, Ayumi Ishida also acted in many TV shows. She starred in several movies too. One of her well-known movies is "Otoko wa Tsurai yo."
