Azra "Akilah" Kohen (born 1979) is a very popular and record-breaking author from Turkey. She first released her novel Fi using the pen name Akilah. Later, she started publishing her other books, like Çi and Pi, under her real name, Azra Kohen. She has written many best-selling novels, including Aeden in 2017 and Gör Beni in 2019. Her books are still very popular in Turkey. Azra Kohen is also the first Turkish novelist to have her first three books, known as the Phi trilogy, reach the top 6 on Italy's best-seller list.

Early Life and Education
Azra Kohen was born in 1979 in İzmir, Turkey. Her birth name was Azra Sarızeybek. She studied at Istanbul University, where she focused on Communication, Radio, Television, and Cinema. Later, she continued her education in Economics at Ottawa University in Canada. Azra Kohen has shared that her main reason for studying so much was to "learn more about this world." She can speak both English and Italian.
Her Amazing Books
Azra Kohen is famous for her book series: Fi, Çi, and Pi. These books have been translated into Italian, making them popular in other countries too. The Fi series also became a very successful Internet TV show called Fi. Azra Kohen even mentioned that she planned to write a book about her experiences during the making of the Fi TV series. As of August 2023, all five of her books—Fi, Çi, Pi, Aeden, and Gör Beni—were still in the top 10 best-seller list in Turkey. This shows how much readers love her stories! In 2017, Kohen also mentioned that she was working on two more books, which she called Nakar and Dinle Beni.
Personal Life
Azra Kohen married Sadok Kohen in 2001. They have one son, who was born in 2009. In an interview, Kohen shared that she was trying to become a vegetarian, though she wasn't one at the time.
