Bafatá Region facts for kids
Bafatá is a region located in the central-northern part of Guinea-Bissau, a country in West Africa. The main city and capital of this region is also called Bafatá.
In 2009, a count of the people living there showed that 225,516 people called Bafatá home. The region covers an area of about 5,981.1 square kilometers (or 2,309.3 square miles).
