Bajada del Agrio is a small town, also called a village or municipality, located in southwestern Argentina. It's part of the Neuquén Province and is found in the Picunches area. This town sits right by the Agrio River, which flows into the bigger Neuquén River.
Bajada del Agrio is about 60 kilometers (around 37 miles) north of a city called Zapala. You can reach it by Provincial Route (RP) 14. It's also close to RP 10 and National Route 40, which are important roads in Argentina.

Bajada del Agrio is a small but growing community. In 2020, about 883 people were estimated to live there. This number shows that the town is getting bigger. Back in 2001, a census counted 656 people. This means the population grew by 34% in less than 20 years!
