Beate Grimsrud facts for kids
Beate Grimsrud (28 April 1963 – 1 July 2020) was a Norwegian novelist and playwright. She was born in Bærum. Her best known books are Continental Heaven from 1993, Å smyge forbi en øks from 1998, and Søvnens lekkasje from 2007.
Her novel En dåre fri from 2010 was awarded the Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature. She wrote the script for the movie Ballen i øyet from 2000. She was awarded the Dobloug Prize in 2011.
Grimsrud died of breast cancer on 1 July 2020, aged 57.
