María Beatriz Jurado Fernández de Córdoba (born on March 3, 1983) is a Spanish politician from the People's Party (PP). She was the leader of the New Generations of the People's Party (NNGG), which is the youth branch of the PP, from 2011 to 2017. She also served as a member of the Senate of Spain, which is like one of the two main parts of Spain's parliament, from 2011 to 2018. After that, she was elected to the Parliament of Andalusia, which is the main law-making group for the region of Andalusia.

Beatriz Jurado was born in Córdoba, a city in the region of Andalusia. She studied law at the University of Córdoba.
Early Political Steps
Before becoming a national leader, Beatriz was very active in the youth political group, the New Generations of the People's Party (NNGG). She led the NNGG in her hometown of Córdoba from 2007 to 2009. Then, she became the leader for the whole Andalusia region from 2009 to 2011.
Leading the Youth Party
In 2011, Beatriz Jurado was chosen to be the national president of the New Generations of the People's Party. This made her the top leader for young people in the PP across all of Spain.
Serving in the Senate
Also in 2011, she was elected to the Senate of Spain. The Senate is like an important council that helps make laws for the country. She represented the area of Córdoba. She was very popular and received the most votes among the candidates in her area. She kept her seat in the Senate after the elections in 2015 and 2016.
Moving to Regional Politics
In 2017, Beatriz could no longer be the president of NNGG because she had passed the age limit of 30. After her time in the national Senate, she decided to focus on politics closer to home. Family Life
Beatriz Jurado is a mother of three children. In 2014, her second child had a serious health issue when they were nine months old. The child received medical care and recovered. In 2017, her third child was born in a very unusual way: in a car, with the help of the baby's father!
