The Story of Bellamy
Bellamy was officially started in 1882. A person named Thomas Bellamy planned out the community. He decided to name it after his own family.
Soon after, in 1883, a post office opened in Bellamy. This post office helped people send and receive mail. It stayed open for many years. However, it closed down in 1907. Sometimes, people also called this place "Bellamy City."
