Ben Moore started his basketball journey at Southern Methodist University (SMU). He came from Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, Illinois. In high school, he was recognized as an "all-state honorable mention" player. This means he was one of the best players in the state. He was also a finalist for the "Illinois Mr. Basketball" award.
During his first year at SMU, Ben was named the American Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week three times. This is a big award for new players! He earned it on November 11, 2013, and again on January 27 and February 10, 2014. By the end of his college career, Ben was averaging about 9 points and 5.8 rebounds in each game.
Ben Moore's Professional Basketball Career
After college, Ben Moore began his professional basketball career. He was not chosen in the 2017 NBA draft, which means he was "undrafted." However, this did not stop him from pursuing his dream.
Playing for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (2017–2018)
In June 2017, Ben signed a contract with the Indiana Pacers. This allowed him to join their team for the 2017 NBA Summer League. Later, in August 2017, he signed with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. This means he was connected to the Pacers team.
Time with the Indiana Pacers (2018)
On January 12, 2018, Ben signed a "two-way contract" with the Indiana Pacers. A two-way contract lets a player split their time between an NBA team and its G League team. So, Ben played for both the Pacers and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.

Playing in Turkey with Galatasaray (2019)
On September 12, 2019, Ben moved to Turkey to play for Galatasaray Doğa Sigorta. This team is part of the Basketbol Süper Ligi, which is Turkey's top basketball league. He played there for a few months before leaving the team on December 2, 2019.
