How the Show Worked
The show was based on a cool idea: your best friend probably knows you super well! Each episode focused on a teenager's best friend. This friend would carefully pick a perfect blind date for them.
Picking the Perfect Date
First, the best friend would meet four possible dates. They would interview each person and give them fun challenges. After all that, the best friend would choose the one they thought was best.
Next, the best friend would introduce their chosen date to their friend and their friend's parents. Then, the two teens would go on their first date. The show would add some surprise challenges to make things interesting. For example, they might have to sing karaoke or go bowling while handcuffed!
The Date's Outcome
At the end of each date, the two people had to decide. Would it be a new romance? Would they both say "no thanks"? Or would one person be rejected? Cameras followed the whole date to see if it was "magic or tragic."
