Early Roles in TV and Film

Betsy Túrnez started her acting career in the early 1990s. She had some small roles in movies like Escenes d'una orgia a Formentera (1994) and En brazos de la mujer madura (1996). Around 1999 and 2000, she appeared in a few episodes of the TV show Calle nueva.

In the 2000s, Betsy was very busy with both movies and television. She also worked in theater, teaching acting and helping directors. In 2001, she was part of three TV shows: El cor de la ciutat, Esencia de poder, and Periodistas. In 2002, she played a character named Mariola in the series Policías, en el corazón de la calle. A year later, she played a nurse in El pantano.

Betsy returned to movies in 2004 in Semen, una historia de amor. This film was directed by Inés París and Daniela Fejerman. That same year, she appeared in the police TV series El comisario. She ended the 2000s by playing a receptionist in the movie Los ojos de Julia.
