Betsy Túrnez was born in Barcelona, Spain, on October 13, 1974. She is a talented Spanish actress and also a film producer. She was even nominated for a Gaudí Award for her great acting in the movie El rey tuerto.

Career
Early Roles
Betsy Túrnez started her acting career in the early 1990s. She had small parts in movies like Escenes d'una orgia a Formentera (1994). She also appeared in some episodes of the TV show Calle nueva around 1999 and 2000.
In the 2000s, Betsy was very busy. She worked in many films and TV shows. She also taught theater and helped direct plays. In 2001, she was in three TV shows: El cor de la ciutat, Esencia de poder, and Periodistas.
In 2002, she played Mariola in the series Policías, en el corazón de la calle. A year later, she was a nurse in El pantano. She returned to movies in 2004 with Semen, una historia de amor. That same year, she was in the police TV series El comisario. She ended the 2000s by playing a receptionist in the film Los ojos de Julia.
Becoming Well-Known
At first, Betsy Túrnez had mostly smaller roles. But in the 2010s, she became much more recognized in Spain. After being in the series Kubala, Moreno i Manchón, she joined the show Pop Rapid. There, she played a regular character named Gina.
After becoming more known, she showed how good she was at different types of acting. She played many characters in the funny TV show José Mota presenta.... In 2015, she acted as Mar in the comedy movie Ocho apellidos catalanes.
In 2016, she played Lídia, a main character in the film El rey tuerto. Her performance in this movie was so good that she was nominated for a Gaudí Award in 2017. This award was for "best female lead."
In 2016, she also appeared in the movies Contratiempo and 100 metros. In 2017, she joined the cast of the TV series Cuéntame cómo pasó and El fin de la comedia. Since 2018, she has played Adela in the popular series Benvinguts a la família.
