Bibo is located about 13 miles (21 kilometers) north of a place called Laguna. You can find it on Route 279, which is north of a big highway called Interstate 40.
How Bibo Got Its Name
The community of Bibo was named after the Bibo brothers. They were a family who came to live in this area in the 1880s. One of the brothers, Ben Bibo, ran a trading post there for many years. A trading post is like a store where people can buy and sell goods, often in remote areas. Ben Bibo's trading post was open from 1895 to 1920.
