Biddle is a small village in southeastern Powder River County, Montana, in the United States. It is located near the Little Powder River. You can find Biddle along Highway 59, south of Broadus, which is the main town in Powder River County.
History of Biddle
The first post office in Biddle was set up in 1916. Charles Schofield was the first person in charge of it. Later, Roland Rumph took over the post office. In 2010, a new post office building was built, and it is now run by the United States Postal Service (USPS).
The village of Biddle was named after S. F. B. Biddle. He used to own a very large farm called the Cross Ranch. Today, Nathan and Connie Rumph own this ranch.
