William Oscar Handy (born November 1, 1888 – died April 8, 1945) was an American baseball player. He was a talented second baseman who played in the Negro Leagues from 1911 to 1921. The Negro Leagues were professional baseball leagues for African American players. They played during a time when Black athletes were not allowed to play in Major League Baseball.
