Each episode of Billy Webb's Amazing Stories begins in a cafe. Billy Webb meets a friend there. He tells his friend about all the strange things happening to him.
Billy keeps finding unusual items. These items come from mysterious people. For example, he gets pancake mix that gives his whole class hiccups. He also finds a bike that can fly! Another time, he gets a very strange watch.
Billy and his friend soon realize something important. The mysterious person giving him these items is always the same. This person appears every time Billy reads a certain book.
They eventually figure out how to stop this strange man. They work together to get rid of him for good. The mysterious person is played by a different actor in each episode. In the final episode, he wears a thick striped blazer.
